Every country seems to have a different way of celebrating Christmas. Each one has special traditional Christmas foods, special Christmas traditions and customs, different ways of giving gifts, and Father Christmas or Santa Claus has many different names.
December 25th is Christmas Day in the United Kingdom. It's a holiday for most people, and there are lots of customs and traditions, and children get lots of presents!

As to the culinary party for this holiday prepare many different dishes – a goose, stewed cabbage, jellied dishes, various rolls. Invite friends and acquaintances on a visit for a festive table. Give gifts – souvenirs. Decorate houses garlands, a tinsel, dress up a fur-tree, hang up on entrance doors a Christmas wreath-symbol of light which will come to the world with a birth of the Christ.

Обрати внимание на на употребление глагола to be в своем сообщении, а так же на употребление глаголов в Present Simple. Например, "In Russia all people celebrates" здесь окончание s не нужно, так как people всегда во множест числе. В каких случаях мы ставим окончание s ? Плвтори это к следующему уроку. :)
I would like to tell you about Christmas day in Russia. We celebrate this day on 7th January. I go to my relatives and congratulate them on Christmas. I eat a goose on this day. I do not wear special clothes. I give presents to my relatives. I decorate my house with garlands for example.

People in Russia celebrate Christmas very cheerfully. They decorate Christmas tree with baubles, lights, tinsel, give gifts each other, cook Christmas dinner and invite visitors. As for me I like this holiday, because I get presents.
